Between 2012 and 2014, Dr. Ahmet Bekin received training in Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery from Prof. Dr. Roberto Bergamaschi at New York Stony Brook University Hospital. Afterward, he returned to Turkey and worked at Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Training and Research Hospital. In 2016, he left public service and began working in the private sector, specializing in Obesity and Diabetes Surgery.

Dr. Bekin's areas of expertise include hernia surgery, reflux surgery, obesity surgery, advanced laparoscopic surgery, and robotic surgery. Additionally, he is experienced in laser surgical treatments, minimally invasive surgery, and endocrine surgery. He is fluent in English and Arabic.

He is currently serving patients at his private clinic in Istanbul and continues his academic work as a Lecturer at Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine, Department of General Surgery.
